Model Education Society
The Model Education Society is a registered body which was established in 1962 by a group of eminent educationsists, academicians and professionals under the leadership of Late. G. S . D Sharma who have readered distinguished services to the society in various fileds. The society was registered as a non-profit body with an objective of catering to the educational needs of the society by opening schools and colleges.
The society with the motto “ Vidyaya Amrutham Ashnuthe” meaning “Eat nector through knowledge” made begning by opening Kannada medium Nursery, primary, middle school and High school in 1962. All these institutions have acquired great reputation for excellence in both curricular and co-corricular fields. These institutions have well equipped laboratory, library and spacious computer labs.
As a follow up the society started M.E.S. Pre University college in 1983 to mark the completion of 20 years of fruitful service. The college offers combination EBACS and GEBA.

The M.E.S PU college which was functioning in the society building in Jayanagar was shifted to the new building in B.T.M layout. All the needs of the students are adequently met in this building which houses a well equipped laboratory, library, reading room and auditorium besides spacious and well ventilated class rooms. An ideal learning atmosphere for the students is provided in this building situated in a place of beautiful natural suroundings.
The society has gone on steadily expanding its sphere of educational activities. In the year 1998 the society started English medium primary school (Nursery to 7th Standard ) in the jayanagar premises and English medium primary and high school ( Nursery to 10th Standard) at B.T.M layout premises. All the institutions are giving excellent education with knowledgeable, dedicated, deciplined teachers and lecturers. The aim of the institutions is to bring out the best in each child by catering to the individual needs to make each individual a succesful and confident citizen of society
To mark the succesful completion of 60 years of excellent service in the filed of education, the society management has upgraded the jayanagar school premises to the international standards by renovating all the class rooms. Along with it management feels happy to start Montessori school ( for the age group of 2 12 to 4 12 years) for the academic year 2023 – 24 at jayanagar and B.T.M. Layout premises.
